Aim: help promote ITMIG within their country and recruit new members.
This is be a self-nominated position.
This committee is led by the current or past member of the ITMIG leadership. The Ambassadors will be provided with a promotional sheet listing activities and important information about ITMIG. They will be also listed on ITMIG website. The main commitments of the Ambassadors are to:
- Recruit new ITMIG members.
- Identify and engage potential new members through conferences and outreach to interested colleagues
- Promote the society’s purpose and educate how ITMIG has had an impact on the disease. Even to those who do not join ITMIG.
- Help promote ITMIG-related events, including the annual meeting and educational webinars for Thymic Malignancy Awareness Month.
- Attend 2 meetings with the Committee Chair twice a year.

ITMIG Tumor Board
- TUMOR BOARD

Aim: Multidisciplinary case consultation of patients with thymic epithelial tumors. The case can only be submitted and presented by a physician involved in the patient’s treatment.
Meetings: Every 1st Thursday of the month at 8 AM EST/2 PM CET.

Dear ITMIG Member,
We would like to invite you to join our ITMIG international virtual Tumor Board. The virtual Tumor Boards occur over Zoom every 1-3 months depending on the case request volume. The schedule of the tumor board varies for each case depending on the availability of the presenting team, but is usually around 8-10 AM (Eastern Standard Time). Each case often incites exciting discussion and debate. Our next tumor board is scheduled for February 13, 2025, but the date can change.
If you are interested in joining upcoming and/or future Tumor Boards, please EMAIL US to be added to the list and receive our notifications about future meetings.
Please include your specialty, institution and number of years in practice since completion of training. Trainees are also welcome to join and learn from our collegial international team of experts.
Please note that only physicians can participate in Tumor Board meetings!
