On November 3, 2016, ITMIG held its first formal fundraising event in New York City. With the theme of highlighting ITMIG accomplishments, the 2016 gala was successful in raising over $12,000 for research for patients with thymic malignancies.
The 2016 ITMIG meeting was held in San Francisco on September 15-17. It was an exciting meeting thanks to the intense work by the Program Co-chairs, Heather Wakelee and Joe Shrager as well as the entire Planning Committee.
On Oct 23-25 the 5th Annual ITMIG Meeting was held at the Regal International East Asia Hotel in Shanghai. The meeting was extremely successful with a record setting 241 participants from all major specialties.
One of the ITMIG Mission is to get Members involved in works and scientific projects.
ITMIG continues to build its culture of being an open society devoted to creating resources that promote progress.
ITMIG continues on a steep trajectory. Looking back, we have accomplished a lot since ITMIG was born on May 5, 2010.
In 2011, a big focus for ITMIG was to work with Purdue University to build a sophisticated international database.
Much progress has been made on several fronts. This update covers activities of ITMIG since January 2011.
