ITMIG Prospective Database is reopen!

Dear ITMIG Colleagues,

With great excitement we can report that the ITMIG prospective database is reshaping up to be a resounding success. The HUBzero platform that was previously used has been mirrored and transferred at Institut Curie (Paris). We currently have >1,900 patients from about 50 centers from all over the world in the prospective DB, that are available for updating their follow-up, and we expect you to participate and include new patients. The real accomplishment is how much a broad and diverse community has come together to populate and bring to life this tremendous resource.
______________

The ITMIG prospective database will serve as a huge, unprecedented resource for us. As you all know, this will inform the updating of the stage classification system, but it also will be available for multiple projects and answer questions that any contributing ITMIG member may ask.

______________

The prospective database is now open for recruitment and longitudinal follow-up of patients at https://itmig.curie.fr. The online fields are designed to reduce the work of data entry and should not take more than 15 minutes at a time. Multi-disciplinary data fields allow for complete capture of the patient’s demographics, clinical, diagnostic, treatment and follow-up data.

______________
Please respond to this email to let us know of your interest in contributing to this project, and we will assist you in getting started. Anne-Sophie Tedesco is the key contact. As the system closure occurred in June 2018, we expect patients diagnosed from July 2018 to be eligible for the prospective database.
______________
If you previously participated to the prospective database, your patients already registered into the database may be updated. Please contact Anne-Sophie for registering back with your previous ITMIG user ID.
______________
If you are a new contributor to the database,  please register by clicking on « Getting Started » !
______________
Once your data is uploaded, you will have full access to your data and can view it on-line through the tools available in the system.
______________
We are excited to reopen this project with you and the rest of our ITMIG colleagues. ITMIG has made major strides in a very short period of time due to the involvement of individuals like you. Thank you for your participation.
______________

Sincerely,

Nicolas Girard, President, International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group
