the Joint Webinar

Update on the Multidisciplinary Management of Thymic Carcinoma

held in celebration of the Thymic Malignancy Awareness Month and the ARS Annual Meeting

on May 15, 2023 at 13:00-14:30 EDT

(12:00-13:30 CST/19:00-20:30 CEST)

In May 2023, we propose to conduct an ITMIG/ARS joint webinar on the multidisciplinary management of thymic carcinoma. The timing of this webinar will take advantage of Thymic Malignancy Awareness Month and the ARS Annual Meeting which will occur in May. Additionally, this will allow featuring of the recently completed ARS Appropriate Use Criteria guidelines on thymic carcinoma. Being a rare disease, we estimate that there will be broad interest in a webinar discussing general management and controversies surrounding thymic carcinoma. This 75 minute webinar will discuss early-stage, locally-advanced and metastatic thymic carcinoma with discussion by multidisciplinary experts in thoracic radiology, medical oncology, surgery and radiation oncology, and allow audience participation. The webinar will be intended for an audience of both healthcare professionals and patients.
